Description: Towards Perfection by Simon Burns-Cox is designed to illustrate the road to achievement and perfection. This is represented by six pebbles made from White Italian Carrara Marble. Each one different in dimension and texture. The pebbles have been carved and polished by hand but to a different extent. Some very rough and some almost perfect. Towards Perfection was designed for the exhibition ‘In Touch Tour’ for The Blind, Sighted and Partially Sighted at The Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th September 2018. Participants were encouraged to feel and handle each stone carefully with each one representing a different stage in the road towards achievement and perfection.
