Description: The sculpture ‘Highland’ by Simon Burns-Cox has been made to illustrate the beauty of The Highlands in Scotland with The Thistle as the national emblem. The sculpture is made from Green Guatemalan Verde Marble with a White Portland Stone base. The sculpture is handcrafted and highly polished by hand.
The sculpture ‘Highland’ was designed to represent my ‘response to place’. I live in Scotland and still marvel at the beauty of the Scottish landscape. The sculpture shimmers under light, is beautiful near water and is a good focal point for a garden. It is suitable for both exteriors and interiors.
‘Highland’ is part of the New Exterior Garden Sculpture Collection by Simon Burns-Cox. Featured in the March and April 2018 issues of the stylish magazine ‘The World of Interiors’ and ‘The Great Outdoors’
Highland was on display at The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens Art in the Garden Sculpture Exhibition October 2018
