The Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition 2016 and Simon Burns-Cox. The Marble Sculpture ‘Love and War’ by Simon Burns-Cox has been selected for this year’s Royal Scottish Academy’s Open Exhibition 2016 in Edinburgh. The Exhibition will be in The Lower Galleries at The Royal Scottish Academy Edinburgh from the 16th July to 30th August 2016. Opening Times: Monday to Saturday 10am to 5.00pm and Sunday 12.00pm to 5.00pm. The Sculpture was inspired by the book ‘Love and War in The Apennines ‘ by Eric Newby which describes the horrors of war during the Second World War in Italy. The sculpture is for sale.
