Art in the Garden Sculpture Exhibition 2018 at Hillier Gardens from Saturday 12th May to Sunday 14th October 2018. Simon Burns-Cox is exhibiting his work with his new Exterior Garden Sculpture Collection which is made from marble.

Stunning sculptures are attractively presented in the beautiful setting of this world famous 180 acre Garden. Featuring award winning, local, new and established British sculptors and artists from overseas.

Be inspired by abstract, modern or figurative sculpture, there is always something to please everyone. This selling exhibition is a fabulous opportunity to buy a unique piece of art for your home or garden.

Sir Harold Hillier Gardens continues to showcase exciting new sculptures for Art in the Garden’s 19th year. We are welcoming several new artists this year with sculptures ranging from willow, ceramics, stone, glass, copper and many recycled materials.

Simon Burns-Cox is another new artist, his large, circular marble carvings make a dramatic backdrop to Jermyn’s House. They are carved from guatemalan marble and highlight the delicate intricacies of the marble veins.

Simon Burns-Cox has created a beautiful new luxury handcrafted Marble and Stone Exterior Garden Sculpture Collection for all types of Garden and Outdoor Space.  The sculptures are made in a wide range of contemporary designs and come in all dimensions. They are handcrafted and highly polished with the use of hand tools and modern machinery and technologies. Made to order with a four to six week delivery timescale and bespoke commissions are available where the client is able to create their own design.

The sculpture ‘Highland’ was designed to represent my ‘response to place’. I live in Scotland and still marvel at the beauty of the Scottish landscape. The sculpture shimmers under light, is beautiful near water and is a good focal point for a garden. Description: The sculpture entitled ‘Rhapsody’ by Simon Burns-Cox was created to illustrate the complexity of love and its beauty with the heart at the centre. The sculpture ‘Rhapsody’  was inspired by the beautiful Metal Work of Morocco.

‘Rhapsody’ is handcrafted and made from Green Guatemalan Marble which shimmers under light. It has a White Italian Carrara Marble base. The design was handcrafted and then highly polished by hand. The sculpture looks lovely with under-lighting as The Green Marble shimmers in the light. It is also beautiful near water or as a focal point for a garden or as an interior sculpture. ‘Rhapsody’ was created as part of The New Exterior Garden Sculpture Collection by Simon Burns-Cox and was featured in the March and April 2018 issues of the stylish magazine ‘The World of Interiors’ and ‘The Great Outdoors’.
